Sam's Number 3 Breakfast Restaurant ·$$

Once upon a time, there was a restaurant in Denver. Started by an entrepreneur in the 1920s, it was called Coney Island, third in a chain of five, and it served good old comfort food. Over 70 years later, the restaurant reopened a few doors down under the management of the original restaurateur's grandsons. Sam's No. 3 still serves the same comforting food “with an attitude.” Plunge into the Kitchen Sink Skillet for breakfast, while enjoying the simple, nostalgia-inducing interior. American, Greek, and Mexican fare await you at servings that exceed the prices nicely.

I have been a loyal Sam's No. 3 customer since Havana days. Chatted regularly with Patrick over the years. I have NEVER, gotten a terrible plate of food. And only a handful less than absolutely...

It took me years of living in Denver to finally try Sam's No. 3. It's exactly what you'd want from a classic diner. The menu has so many options, the portions are generous, and the prices are...

Came here on the recommendation of our local family members. Took the RTD train downtown and walked about 1mile to this location. We were seated by the hostess at about 9:45 am and noticed that we...
