Old Oakland contains many of the government buildings in the old downtown area. Nice to see a few buildings of interest.

There are a few blocks here that make up the historic district with some pleasing architecture. The best part is the collection of good restaurants and bars making up a small good night life district. Street parking around.

This is a good place for a drink or a dinner, or just a stroll to enjoy the very old architecture. Downtown once looked like this, all over the place. Easy parking here.

I used to go to a fitness center near here and was here almost everyday. Now I come occasionally to go to one of the many cool restaurants in the area. Nicely preserved architecture from the city's past.

This is an interesting part of downtown with some good restaurants and bars ;us a hotel. The architecture has been nicely preserved from old times.
