tripadvisorWhat a fun outing this was! Linda, our hostess and the current owner of this historic little spot, is a marvelous storyteller. She grew up in the neighborhood that is home to the Cave House and she had always been curious and had many stories of her own to add to those she has put together from visitor, neighbors & read. Well worth setting aside 3 hours or so to go see & learn about this colorful piece of Tulsa history. Make sure to make reservations. This is not an ADA accessible tour and parking is limited.
MoreWe highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Tulsa or are a long time resident. We wanted something fun and different to do and this fit the bill thanks to Linda. She is the owner and master storyteller blending history, folklore, humor and quirkiness all with Tulsa hospitality! This was the most fun two hours we’ve had in a long time. You have to go experience this unique quirky place.
MoreVisiting the Cave House was such a wonderful experience and a reminder that Tulsa has some truly special hidden gems. So much of what made our visit memorable was Linda herself!Linda is an incredible storyteller. She effortlessly weaves together Tulsa history, fascinating folklore, and all the fun and quirky details that make the Cave House so unique. You can tell how much she genuinely loves the property and its history, and her enthusiasm makes the entire experience that much more enjoyable. As a Tulsa local, I especially loved getting to experience something so unique right here in our own city. Whether you live in Tulsa or are just visiting, I absolutely recommend taking a tour of the Cave House. It’s charming, unusual, full of stories, and definitely an experience you’ll remember.Thank you, Linda, for making our visit so much fun! We loved it!
MoreWhat a Tulsa treasure!!! Linda gave a lot of very interesting facts and history of The Cave House and has it decorated so cute. She's put ALOT of time and effort into the presentation of the Cave House and it definitely shows! When visiting Tulsa, it should be included in places to see, it's worth the time =) Such a fun experience! Thanks to Linda for the GREAT tour!!!
MoreLinda gave a great tour, with many detailed stories about Tulsa history. Our family visited Tulsa for the weekend and our two girls (14, 16 yrs) said it was the highlight of the trip. I really appreciated the history and stories about bootleggers etc, my wife loved all the art made of bones and sticks, and the girls loved the slide and the secret hatch under the floor with old bottles and pennies. Entertaining and worth the visit. Thank you
