This area of the campus is pretty awesome. There are old buildings with a lot of detail and some Roman or Greek pillars in the center. A nice spot.

I actually visited this place many years ago. I was quite impressed by these columns. Other than the giant football stadium, these are the only things I remember about the campus.

I went to school here over 50 years ago, and still take a walk around the quadrangle whenever I can, just to remember those many treks there while I was in school. The columns are the remains of a long ago fire, and underscore the history of this campus.

The Historic Centerpiece of the University of Missouri. This is A Beautiful Place to Walk and Enjoy the View of the Historic Columns Framed by the Gold-Domed Jesse Hall. Mature Trees and Well-Groomed Flowering Shrubs Line the Walkways. Numerous Benches are Located Along the Quadrangle and Tucked into Adjoining Walkways.
