There are Lincoln exhibits almost everywhere some with tenuous connections. The archivists of Idaho avoided that trap and have done an outstanding job of enumerating the Lincoln chronology and (here's the great part) how it affected Idaho, or how it is tied to Idaho, or how Idaho reacted to the historic moments. This is truly an Idaho Lincoln exhibit. It is well well light and of moderate height so you don't have to block reflections on the glass and bend over to read agate print. I read everything in the exhibit, which is housed in the state archives, and completed it in three hours. Free admission and free parking. Somewhat limited hours so be sure to check the website. Near the Table Rock Trail, Old Penitentiary and Botanical Gardens so you can combine several visits in a day.

We attended a lecture about Abraham Lincoln. We were entertained as well as enlightened. The souvenir books we received were very well written and I got mine signed.
