Kirkland Hotel
Landmark
In the late 19th Century, the Tudor-style Kirkland Hotel was built in Kingston. Its architecture is unique for an urban inn, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A former 1970s restaurant, it faced closure and refurbishment efforts got halted for quite a few decades. In 2002, the Kirkland Hotel building received State Historic designation as a landmark structure subsequent to its redevelopment phase.
