With no more than 108 seats, this theater is the most intimate venue for dance performances in Tucson. Artistic directors Nanette Robinson and Nancy Mellan have saved the historic YWCA building south of University Boulevard from oblivion while creating a successful community-based dance school in the process. Modern dance, jazz dance, ballet and aerial dance on a trapeze are all part of the class schedule. The space can also be rented for special artistic events.
