tripadvisorI just drove by for a picture since it is a private residence. Street parking available. No access to the house. Short drive from downtown, so if you are in the area and want a picture drive on by.
MoreThis house is privately owned. The owner does not give personal tours. She was kind enough to give me a little history though. I was thrilled for that!
MoreWe happened to see the Clinton Home wile looking for the presidential library and the state capitol, so we decided to take a look. It is a very nondescript home and was apparently where the Clintons lived approximately from 1975 to 1978 while he was the Attorney General of the State of Arkansas. The house is very, rarely open to tours, as it is a privately owned home.
MoreWe visited William jefferson and Hilary Clintons first home they had in Little Rock Arkansas . It is on 5419 L street a half an hour local Little rock metro bus ride away. The bus driver told us when to get off and how to get back to down town. The Clinton house is now a private dwelling and is not open to the public. It is in a nice area and would have been a really nice area when they lived here. It is only a single story brick house and has a local kiddy park just over the road. House is a bit run down now with a messy looking garage and back yard. Not realy worth a trip but we come from the same place ( Oxhill Co Durham .England)Hilary Rodham Clintons ancestors came from before her Great grandfather went to the USA to live. They were from a rich coal mining family and also have a street named after them. (Rodham terrace also in Stanley ). Also George Washington family came from Co Durham .UK. Easy to get to on the number 1 bus. Bus runs every 35 minutes. People say you can get into the house nut not very often. we enjoyed our ten minute visit.
MoreI had an inside tour, awesome! So much history. The actual owner are so nice! *Dont disturb the owners. You need to find the special ticket (once a year or know the owners)
