Lots of different shops and restaurants to choose from! Different things to explore

It’s a square in the middle of downtown Ocala. Around here square are bars. The square was filled with homeless ppl. Begging. A real shame

Awesome restaurants & businesses amid a charming town square which is gorgeously lit up during the Christmas holiday season! It should be on everyone’s list to enjoy! There’s even a beautifully painted horse statue near the entrance of the town square park that makes a great photo opportunity! Parking seems plentiful. Harry’s for lunch & the Candy Shop next to Harry’s are just two great reasons for visiting downtown Ocala aside for many other shops.

This place went thru a decline and there wasn't much to see or do in the 90's and forward. Now, it has grown and is very active with many choices for restaurants. I remember Ocala thinking Orlando was the place to be. And now, they are doing beautiful things. The only bad thing is that they still have a small town attitude on upscale. Because some of the newer places are unique to what they are used to, the prices are exaggerated...considerably more than a more happening city/town.

We passing through Ocala to meet a friend for lunch. She suggested we hang out in the square to wait for her.It was a nice little area. I could tell that it would be beautifully decorated for Christmas. There were ample places to sit. I was a little put off by the religious people stationed at every entrance to the park waiting to confront you. I tried not to make eye contact and they didn't bother us.There isn't much to do or look at in the immediate area. There were a few restaurants, including the one we eventually met our friend at, and a cute little candy store and small boutique.
