tripadvisorWhat a tiny treasure, with art, pictograms, inspirational aphorisms +- a shady relaxing gem. It's just a half a block from the middle of downtown and well worth the walk. It'll be just across from the new baseball stadium.
MoreDon’t go out of your way for this but it is near AC Hotel and a bunch of restaurants on main st, so maybe a good way to walk off dinner. The park is small and could use more landscaping. But the sculptures are very cool and there are little quotes and cryptograms on the path which are fun.
MoreThis park was extremely small and doesn't have a parking lot. If you are in the area and want a nice walk, this would be a good place to check out. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to see it.
MoreFirst of all, while I liked the place.dont go out of your way to come here. It is very small. If you are in the area..great. Or like us on a lightbulb hunt. If not..dont drive out of the way to come to this place. This is a tiny art park located in not the best part of downtown. There are benches here, flowers, trees, and some sculptures. On there pathway there are well known quotes. In the downtown area, there are 28 large lightbulbs decorated by local artists. It is known as Lightup Spartanburg. It really does make for a fun hunt. And there is one located here known as Reflections of a Sparkling City. You wont need much time here. I would say no more than 30 minutes. Parking isn't the best. We were here on this Sunday and the business next door was closed so we parked there. It isn't to far of a walk from the downtown area where you will find the majority of lightbulbs. There is no admission charge. This is just a small area to highlight art so no picnic benches or bathrooms. So plan accordingly! Oh..and this place floods easily. We had a small rain and there was water standing everywhere. But if you are close by..it is small but a delight!
MoreArt is local and interesting, live nearby. It has a nice bench that the sun shine on right before sunset. The landscaping needs to be kept up, it is dyeing and out of sorts.
