Graffiti Alley Landmark

Alleys are infamous for being the center of anti-social activities, but the Graffiti Alley begs to differ. With art at its heart, this small hideout on the East Liberty Street has been the center of attraction for many locals and tourists alike. The alley has visitors like photographers, dancers, musicians who come here to display their talent in the presence of this eccentric yet gorgeous art exhibition. Stand here and take photographs or just contemplate the inspirations behind the graffiti, without any hindrances whatsoever. Graffiti Alley is definitely one of the must-visit attractions of the city.

Graffiti Alley is a beautifully decorated hidden passage right on central campus in Ann Arbor. This is my second time visiting and both times it was just so cool to see all the colorful art. It’s definitely worth a stop for some cool quick pictures. Be on the lookout for my favorite artist who just write farts over and over.

Graffiti Ally is a fun spot to go with friends, take pictures, and look around. While it is not much of an activity to take up your day, it is a cool place to stop when you visit Ann Arbor. Another great feature about this destination is that it is especially covid friendly because you remain outdoors at all times and are able to socially distance from those around you.

I thought this was a very cool and unique place to check out!! Crazy that it has been there since 1999 and I have never heard of it until researching what to do on an overnight trip to Ann Arbor. My husband and I walked through a few times. It was a cool environment, a lot to look at. We walked around the city after dinner and some drinks, checked this out, the singing in the rain mural and the wings mural. Can't wait to go back for a fun night!

Very well named, as it is one long alley covered in graffiti. Reminds me of 1970s New York City without the muggings, streetwalkers and peep shows. Artists tend to linger at the entrance which adds an aura of authenticity.
