We visited in April, so the area was fairly nondescript. Would love to come back during the winter holiday season to enjoy the festive atmosphere and lights depicted in the media.

Iconic NYC landmark and touristy area. It's more interesting with the skating rink being up but this area has a lot of retail shopping with their flagship stores.
