tripadvisorThe story is more interesting than the actual visit. Just know that a family lives here. It’s not actually an attraction. You should stop by when you’re in the area but don’t go out of your way to see it. Have lunch at the North End and also check out Paul Revere’s house while you’re in the area.
MoreThe appropriately named Skinny House is another example of the North End's quirky architecture & charm. As others have noted, this is a private home and you only get to look at the outside of this home squeezed in between the other North End homes. I wouldn't go out of my way to see just this home (plenty of other sites in Boston), but it's located across the street from the Old Granary Cemetery along the Freedom Trail so you can catch it as you walk by the neighborhood.
MoreNo parking space. Really tight spaces house. Looks like a family is living in there. Nothing much. I bet this place cost a lot when sold
MoreThe sale of this private home was sold in 2021. I remember hearing about the transaction on national news. Even though that amount of money doesn't go far in this area, it's worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood. Located near Copp's Hill Burying Grounds.
MoreThis is Boston's narrowest house about 9.5 feet wide. Built in 1862. Called the Spite House because the owner built it to block his neighbor's view. Can't go inside because it's a private home. Don't go out of your way to see this, but if you're in the area, it's an interesting photo stop.
