For more than 50 years Ventura Montessori School has provided authentic Association Montessori International ( AMI) academic programs to children from the time they are potty trained through age six. We also offer onsite before and after school programs. Dedicated teachers are the greatest asset any school can have, and Ventura Montessori School's teachers bring unprecedented levels of experience and dedication. Our student to teacher ratio never exceeds 10:1, allowing us to offer your child an individualized academic experience in a calm atmosphere. Through the Montessori Method children develop the internal motivation to continue their quest of learning and mastery of their world. Teachers guide children in the correct use of each material, then allow children the freedom to work at their own pace. In this manner children come to master the concepts which support further learning and understanding.
