Established in 1968 by the Wallingford United Methodist Church to give back to the community, we have a supportive relationship with the church, while maintaining a non-religious curriculum. We are committed to helping each child build a positive self-image to promote their success at school and at home. Our emergent curriculum allows the teachers to follow the children's interests and build on their innate curiosity. Through an anti-bias curriculum and in a peace based community, children are allowed the opportunity to explore and accept our differences and develop a vision of a world beyond our walls. We believe that children and parents need to receive all the love and encouragement possible in these early years and we are committed to providing it.
