Children between 12 months and 5 years are eligible to attend the Center. ELDC has a non-discrimination policy. No child will be denied admission because of their background. We feel that a good balance of race and culture is a healthy situation and will help your child to develop a tolerance and understanding of others culture and beliefs. Our purpose is to: Share with families the responsibility for promoting sound learning and development in a period when growth is rapid and significant. Encourage each child's self-esteem, curiosity, spontaneous energy, and inventiveness from which a lifestyle positive of learning habits can develop. Provide a developmentally appropriate program which will meet the child's emotional, intellectual, and health needs, as well as providing for their physical care. Recognize the individuality of each child and to foster the child's growth to their full potential, understanding that they are also part of the larger community.
