Visiting this place was a bucket list item for me and it was everything I thought it would be. The staff were amazing and so helpful and pleasant. It is so well managed and so many cool things to look at and photo ops! The gift shop is stocked with so many awesome souvenirs! They even gave my 5 year old a little bear with an outsiders house museum shirt on it. I highly recommend a stop here if you are a fan, it was a wonderful time!

Ugh, the construction to get there was a bit of a puzzle to work around, but I am so glad we visited. They had a nice amount of memorabilia around the house and in the gift shop, and the staff were well informed. I felt the admission price was fair, as were the prices in the gift shop.

This is a great place to visit. Knowledgeable and friendly staff explain everything about the house and its furnishings to you. They guide you through each room of the house detailing the props and significance of each one. The gift shop has a good selection of merchandise. You won't find this place unless you are looking for it or someone takes you there but it a nice stop off the beaten trail.

We heard about this museum from a local friend as we were passing through town. It was during the week so I texted the number online fully expecting to not hear back. I heard back within 30 mins and we had a tour scheduled for the next day! This is a must see for any fan or anyone who appreciates pop culture history. One of the owners gave us the tour and he did an excellent job, explaining and sharing some remarkable stories. We all left very happy that we went. They have done an excellent job restoring the home and collecting memorabilia.

Offered my daughter the choice of going anywhere in the world for her Spring Break and she chose Tulsa. When asked why she chose Tulsa, she stated The Outsiders House Museum was there. So off we went to Tulsa! I enjoyed the book/movie but not as much as my daughter has. She donned her Stay Gold shirt, jean jacket, and her Chuck Taylors and we met up with Donnie for the private tour. The house is in AMAZING condition! Donnie shared so much detail about the house and the making of the movie and the area! Could never have the same experience unless you were here in person. Fun stories about finding all the stuff displayed in the house, about the actors/actresses, and even spending time (to this day) with SE Hinton herself! If you are even a remote fan of this movie/book, do not miss the opportunity to come visit! And the gift shop is EPIC!
