Samantha took our group of four to a few great eateries and drinkeries for our three-hour tour. We had a fabulous time and learned a lot.

Had a great day sampling food from Old School Pizzeria, Well 80 Brewhouse, Rush In Dumplings, Gotti Sweets & Hawley's Gelato. In between eating stops we learned the history of the city and of the historical buildings located in downtown Olympia. Sam also explained the background on some of the murals that are on many buildings downtown. Definitely loved the new tastes (to me) of flash fried Brussels Sprouts and Borsch. And I can't omit the tasty favorites of the Kitchen Sink Cookies from Gotti's and Lemon Pie Gelato from Hawley's and the rich Pepperoni Pizza from Old School. What a wonderful way to spend part of a day! Great way to get a feel for restaurants when visiting a city. Paul from Well 80 was also nice enough to give us a mini tour of the brewing process.
