tripadvisorThis was a beautiful, refreshing art installation. Thank you Sarasota for supporting this artwork. I hope it served as hope, inspiration, and a reminder for all who saw it. We are better together, and we all have a right to be here and shine.
MoreThis is an amazing outdoor display depicting kindness and the best of humanity. It’s worth a visit
MoreThis is an annual exhibit running until April 19th. that you absolutely don’t want to miss! 50 incredible pieces of art on huge canvases. Those displayed were chosen from over 1000 entries submitted from around the world. Each accompanied by a meaningful quote. The exhibit promotes kindness and acceptance in many thoughtful ways. The park itself is beautiful, right on the bay next to the marina. Multiple options are available there for food and drink.
MoreA gorgeous walk in the park surrounded by powerful and thoughtful messages expressed through beautiful artwork. Each piece tells a story, encouraging me to pause and reflect, seeing the world through someone else’s eyes. The free exhibit celebrates the beauty of diversity through meaningful art and quotes. A beautiful place to wander, ponder and reflect. Inspiring and hopeful…definitely worth a visit by locals and visitors.
MoreFive stars! We walked through the Embracing Our Differences exhibit earlier this month and, honestly, it’s something we look forward to every year. We’ve been going for more than a decade and somehow it still feels fresh each time.If you’re in Sarasota while the exhibit is up, it’s absolutely worth the walk. The artwork is displayed in large panels along the bayfront in Bayfront Park, so you’re strolling along Sarasota Bay while taking it all in. The setting alone makes it a great way to spend an hour. What makes this exhibit different is the mix of art and short quotes about kindness, respect, and understanding people who are different from us. Some pieces make you smile. Some make you stop and think for a minute. A few stick with you long after you leave. It’s outdoors, it’s free, and you can move at your own pace. We usually take our time, read most of the quotes, and end up having a few good conversations along the way.Sarasota has a lot to offer visitors, but this is one of those experiences that feels both meaningful and uniquely local. If you’re here while it’s on display, don’t miss it.
