Located on the western side of Central Park, Alexander von Humboldt Monument is dedicated to the explorer, geographer and naturalist Friedrich Heinrich Alexander von Humboldt. Set on a paved walkway, this monument is situated close to Naturalists' Gate. Designed by the sculptor Gustaf Blaeser, this bronze bust was gifted by Humboldt Memorial Association.
