I am a highly-qualified math teacher of 7 years. I am still in the classroom teaching, but enjoy tutoring in my free time! Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2 are my specialties, but I have knowledge of various math classes and contents. My passion in life is making math accessible to students of all ages and building their confidence in their math abilities. I use a student-centered approach to ensure that the student is the one do-ing, and therefore the one learning, and address their misconceptions along the way. While I can provide additional practice problems/assignments/resources, I do require that the student comes to the session prepared to learn with their notes from class, assignments/tests/quizzes from class that they intend to complete or get help with, writing utensils, and any tech that is required for them.
