World-class acts, elevated experiences, and an electric atmosphere are just some hallmarks that await guests at Bojangles Entertainment Complex. A first-of-its-kind venue in the city, it has enjoyed many names over its existence. Including Bojangles Coliseum and Ovens Auditorium, this complex is where splendid events come to life amid roaring applause under bright lights. Since it opened in 1955, the venue has been at the heart of community and culture in east Charlotte and nearby. Known as BOplex, the venue has showcased around 19,000 events, from sporting events, live shows, musical performances, and classical concerts to local gatherings.
