Absolutely unique experience. You can close your eyes and actually envision the corresponding scene from the movie. The string quartet is made up of local Seattle musicians that also play in the symphony, the ballet and the opera orchestras! They also give you facts along the way that you may not have known about the movie score. The venue is nice with food on scene, but get there early because they do a last call on the food around 9:45p at the Polar Bar. Venue can be on the warm side though as it is old. Paid less than and there is great visibility of the stage which is elevated all around the room.

The musical arrangement and performance were fantastic! The venue (the Arctic Hotel) was exquisite. The experience was well worth the $72 admission fee for Area B (i.e., second row). We enjoyed being closer to the stage, but with the circular arrangement, there’s likely not a bad seat in the house. The audience size was just perfect for an intimate-feeling performance. The concert started promptly at 6:15PM and ended a little over an hour later. I wish it had lasted longer, but I guess that feeling will keep me coming back for more. Can’t recommend Candlelight Performances highly enough. So well done!
