It is perhaps more accurate to say this is simply an artistic place, rather than an art gallery, though years of interesting and highly-caffeinated locals have certainly left their mark on every available space. The coffee actually is quite good, as is the selection of local sodas and pastries. What sets this comfortable space apart is a clientèle representing a slice of Minneapolis Coffee Culture, perhaps at it's finest. It remains a place full of stories and antics. Be careful on the stairs down to the bathroom if you've just been at the bar next door.
