Established in 1996, Sovereign Grounds is a friendly neighborhood coffee shop in Minneapolis serving freshly baked goodies and home-roasted coffee in a family-friendly atmosphere. The interiors are casual with bright yellow colored walls, carpeted floors, circular wooden tables and comfortable seating options. Each mug of coffee that is served here is made of roasted Arabia green coffee beans that are imported straight from Türkiye, giving the coffee an exotic aroma and texture. Sovereign Grounds also features a large play area where children can just be themselves.

yelpWhat a hidden gem in south Minneapolis. All the baked good are made on site and the coffee is roasted here as well. The personal touch here does not go unnoticed, I had one of the most amazing...
MoreA cozy and welcoming spot with fun seating and decor. It definitely has a friendly neighborhood feel, lots of people seemed to know each other while I was there. Staff were incredibly friendly!...
MoreSovereign Grounds is a cozy neighborhood spot! I ordered a gingerbread latte (they have a long list of flavor options), which was decent, but the real standout was the spinach pie. Delicious!...
MoreCoffee was OK? Not flawed, but unremarkable. The baked goods are good, food seems nice, but I haven't tried any of that. Definitely a local spot/nice place to work. Staff seems fine, and nice...
MoreDrinks are not fantastic, pretty sweet and only a couple housemade syrups. However, the food is absolutely incredible--mostly the baked goods. Great service too
