Benches along edge to watch the Boats going in & out of Newport. Short walk to “The Wedge” to watch the Surfers tackle bigger waves

So relaxing! We walked here from the Newport pier. Sat on one of their benches and watched the yachts go by. Very different from watching ocean views. We really enjoyed it.

Parking is a little tough but what a peaceful place to sit by the water and watch the boats. Walk out on the beach and watch the body surfers or sit on the grass and have a picnic.

Great views of the harbor entrance and close to the famous bodysurfing beach with the wave known as the wedge.

This little park will always hold a special place in my heart!! This is where my Wife said YES to me when I proposed to her 19 years ago!!All there is a little grassy area with some benches and a palm trees. It connects to a lovely beach, is close to beautiful homes, and you get a great view of the water and boats which pass by. So beautiful!!
