Our church (Mt. Carmel UMC) has an annual church in the part event - and it is amazingly well suited. Water for wading, swimming (or Baptizing), large covered area for out of the hot sun picnics, lots of cooking and VERY CLEAN bathroom facilities. Also has baseball and volleyball areas and a playground for kids. What's not to like??

We held a church picnic and cookout here. We were very impressed with the facility. Very clean and inviting. Plenty of space to have games going on while we ate and visited. We were very impressed with this place and will come back again!

Surrounded by soft ball fields there are multiple pavilions to use and the bathrooms are better than most. Th is park is well-maintained with ample parking. Bring a fishing pole and just relax and spend an afternoon with your family and a picnic basket. This place is subject to flooding during wet months dress accordingly.

Pinecliff park is one of Frederick's best places for outdoor get togethers. There are several pavilions with electricity and nearby playgrounds. This park also has several baseball fields and river access. There is an A-Frame building which can be rented out and a large hill which is used for sledding in the winter. Its a really great park to visit.

Nice park - I've been there a few times for work picnics where we have reserved the picnic tables. Also taken out a canoe twice after paddling down the river. And, about 15 years ago, camped in Boy Scouts.
