tripadvisorI waited outside the Bodega Boston store for a while on 7/21, waiting to purchase the Oakley’s. When arriving, the Oakleys were not event on display, causing me to look around the store quickly for them. Finally I realized the gentlemen that opened the store had taken 4 glasses to the register. With 3 people in line I quickly got there as the 4th. Employees constantly looked over at the line and even 2 employees had to struggle to open the case to put the 4 display glasses in the boxes (supposedly the only 4 they got). When it was about to be my turn for what I assumed was the last pair, another employee came up and said the person in front of me had the last pair and the 4th pair was already claimed online…lol…where could you claim online?I questioned him nicely as I didn’t want to cause a scene and he stood by his word. This was the biggest smack in the face of a customer and I can’t say I will ever return. Please advise your Boston store of some better release practices.
MorePlease explain delay of about 1 month on this order. I need more concrete answer than I will take 21 days or more. This is the worst CS ever. And it will probably lead to scam. Prove me wrong. Order 607461 Made March 11/2023 now April 5th No tracking number no information at all.
MoreVisiting from Canada and took my son in for the first time today. The gal that helped us find sizes was super helpful and kind, and so was the guy who checked us out. Music vibe was on point and the whole environment was just so chill and welcoming. It’ll be a stop for us any time we’re back in Boston, and I’d recommend everyone else to check it out too. What a cool store.
MoreLocated in the Back Bay area, this upscale streetwear store is hidden in plain sight. To go in the back of a deli corner store, behind a fake Snapple machine lies Bodega. Footwear, apparel and accessories are here for both men and women.
MoreI had high hopes for Bodega, but after visiting, I became thoroughly disappointed. Granted, hiding a store behind an old provisions store is pretty clever--like something you would expect to find in a movie--then you enter a pretend fridge to go in, but beyond that gimmick there is very little substance. The store is much smaller than the pictures would indicate, and when I entered, I received no service at--not even a hello. They blasted music far above levels you would expect to find in a retail store (comparable to levels you would find going clubbing), and the place gave the vibe that it was more of a local hangout than a retailer. Everything was way overpriced. There was nothing for women! We queued up for 40 minutes to get in! What a waste of time.
