tripadvisorSuch a strange spot. Beautiful beach with park behind and views of the city of Boston but also just opposite the runway for Logan Airport. Is noisy but you do become immune to it and in a way it is a nice novelty seeing a load of planes while you sit on a sandy beach.
MoreTook a trip to Massachusetts with teen daughter and some friends. While it was a cooler time of year, beach was quite and clean. Amazing photo ops and likely great swimming during warmer seasons.
MoreWhen one cannot go indoors go outdoors thats exactly what we did This saturday afternoon. There was ample parking ,play area for kids and the beach of course combined with the free show of planes taking off and landing at the nearby logan airport.
MoreDecent playground, place to sit and eat lunch, clean bathrooms. Snack bar was closed and beach was closed to swimming so can review either. Nice take off and landing of the larger planes easily seen even though it was very cloudy/raining. Some smaller planes took off right over us too.
MoreThis is a nice city beach in East Boston. They actually have a snack bar and a great place to watch the planes take off at Logan.
