tripadvisorI wrote this play called the day Penny drowned and it showing two more times in Indianapolis Indiana in the IndyFringe festival
MoreI attended an improv comedy show here while waiting for my train to arrive: the staff were extremely welcoming and the performance gathered a good sized audience. I arrived earlier and was able to talk to the performers for a while as they set up the stage. Definitely worth a visit.
MoreWe actually enjoyed everything we saw at IndyFringe. But 7 (x1) Samurai blew us away with the talent. We were completely taken in. I agree with a reviewer who said David Gaines', one-man show was a small miracle of imagination.Nearly as amazing was Carrie Brown and Karim Muasher's Petunia and Chicken. How they convey all the characters and scenes with just their raw talent and one red scarf was truly amazing.
MoreI went to a performance of Going, Going, Gone! an improv auction.Hilariously, the actors have no idea what is in the boxes of 'family heirlooms' they have to auction off to the audience who are given 'money' to bid with.It was a brilliant night out!
MoreWent to IndyFringe for the first time last weekend and was very pleasantly surprised. The theatre itself is one room with the center of the room as the stage, and chairs set up around the perimeter. This makes for a very up-close-and-personal experience. The Winter's Tale was the play that night, and the actors did a fabulous job. I definitely would recommend going - it's a much more personal experience than most venues. (It also has a bar, for your adult beverage enjoyment.)
