If I could give zero stars, I would.I have been coming to this bar for years. I've wasted hundreds of dollars on karaoke nights with friends in this place of business, and I've told anyone I know about how cool of a place it is to be.According to the bar manager this bar now charges for water, and has a minimum purchase for you to be able to hang out.I was not ready to drink yet, when I was informed I had to purchase something or leave. I've never been so insulted in my life. I was present with my date who also wasn't drinking and wasn't asked to leave.This felt targeted as I was dressed down and comfortable for the evening, but not unpresentable in any fashion, and there is nothing posted that I have found about there being a drink minimum in order to participate in karaoke in this bar. If this were a more upscale bar, with a cover charge I could understand, but it is not. It is a dingy dive bar that literally chokes folks out with cigarette smoke. This also happened on a Tuesday night when it wasn't horribly busy, and there were still tables open. It appears to me as if ownership is grasping for money at this point. I've never caused an issue in that bar, and I'm highly disappointed that this was the experience I received. It was embarrassing, ridiculous, and I'll be letting anyone I know that Moody Monday's sadly isn't the welcoming place they claim to be anymore.

Its a great DIVE bar. Expect smoke and karaoke every night. The locals are fun and accepting of new people. It appears not diverse at first but its very accepting of everyone
