I graduated from UF with a degree in Finance in 1998 and am now a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. I love helping individuals and families develop a strategy to reach their long-term financial goals. I focus on 401k plans, college savings, retirement planning and wealth preservation strategies. I also work with divorcees and widows that find themselves in charge of their finances for the first time. My husband, Matt Mikkelson, and I reside in Palm City with our children. I grew up here in Martin County (Go Tigers!) so helping clients in my hometown is especially rewarding. The Hibiscus House Children's Shelter is near and dear to my heart. In the late 80's, my mom helped start the Women's Guild and Thrift Shop to support the Hibiscus House, and we now serve together, supporting this wonderful charity which helps abused children.
