Leila has been a member of the Towne Family since 2010 and brings more than a decade of industry experience. Leila assists members in the successful completion of an IRC Section 1031 tax-deferred exchange, including coordinating with attorneys, preparing necessary exchange documentation, holding and protecting exchange proceeds, and providing guidance, information, and timelines through the entire 1031 exchange process. In June 2023, Leila earned her designation as a Certified Exchange Specialist (CES), which is a voluntary certification offered through the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA) and designed specifically for 1031 tax deferred exchange professionals. Leila received her BS in Occupational and Technical Studies from Old Dominion University. She is also a graduate of the Chamber of Commerce's LEAD Hampton Roads program and the TowneBank Leadership Exploration and Development Program. John joined TowneBank in 2013 and is a Commercial Banking Officer who works alongside operating companies in contracting, transportation, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, real estate, and maritime industries. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from the Virginia Military Institute and is a Certified Treasury Professional. He is active in the community serving as treasurer for the Elizabeth River Trail Foundation, as board member for Maison Fortune Orphanage Foundation, Maury Foundation, CHKD Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Downtown Norfolk Council. Jeff offers over 30 years of financial industry experience. As a commercial banking officer, he fosters and grows relationships with local commercial real estate investors and developers. He primarily focuses on office, retail, industrial warehouse, self-storage, and medical real estate. Jeff received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from James Madison University. He is also a 2000 graduate of the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management, where he served as class president. Jeff is also a Civic Leadership Institute and Leadership Hampton Roads graduate. In addition, Jeff previously served nine years as finance chair and treasurer for the Norfolk Collegiate School. In his community, Jeff is a member of the Hampton Roads Association of Commercial Real Estate (HRACRE).
