Monte Ne

"Monte Ne" which means "Mountain Water," was a resort that was built by William "Coin" Harvey which consisted of three hotels, a bank, an indoor swimming pool and a golf course over 320 acres (129 hectares) of land. The two hotels were known as some of the bulkiest log buildings in the town, the tower over one of the structures is the only structure visible. The enclosed pool consisted of slides that let the water in from the spring into the pool. A drop in the water level attracts several people of all ages and makes this place a popular recreational destination.
