Hollywood and Vine Historical Marker

This famous intersection in the heart of Hollywood has been a center of glamour and activity since the early days of film. The hottest nightclubs like the Brown Derby and Sardi's were located here as well as several studios which made this a center of the film industry. Many of the buildings at this intersection and nearby were constructed in the 1920s and 30s and of course the Walk of Fame stars are here at the intersection. Right on the corner lies a plaque dedicated to the stars of Neil A. Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and Michael Collins of the 1969 Apollo XI trip to the moon.

LA Breakfast Club

L A Breakfast Club is a unique club in Los Angeles which began in 1925 when local businessmen came up with the idea of building a clubhouse, where they could meet, discuss business, meet new friends and have breakfast before going to work. The idea turned into a reality and even today the club still thrives with its eccentric traditions, fascinating programs and good food. Friendships have been forged here over ham and eggs every Wednesday morning for nearly a century. The festivities commence promptly at 7 a each Wednesday, with all attendees having a hot breakfast followed by some club news, later a pianist accompanies everyone in songs and gentle exercise, and finally a small lecture about world events, everything ends by 9 a sharp. If you are interested in joining this club then for first-timer the fee is USD 15, while the annual membership fee is USD 100.
