Chestnut Hill Park

Chestnut Hill Park is a great place to brig your kids for some after-school fun and bonding with others from the neighborhood. Featuring sets of play equipment for toddlers as well as older kids, you can be sure your child will have an enjoyable time among children of his or her age group. Also consisting of a more challenging set of muscle-stressing activities such as rope climbing, your kids are certain to get the desired amount of physical activity with a great amount of fun.

Putnam Cottage

Originally established as a residence for the Knapp family, this historic building traces its roots as far back as the 17th Century. The place was subsequently converted into a tavern to serve troops during wartime. The place was host to various luminaries of the American Revolution, and was later named after Israel Putnam, a renowned veteran. The house underwent numerous changes over the years, but was restored in 1976 to its former glory. Today, it houses a museum telling the story of the events that unfolded here.
