Cascades of color sprawl across approximately 15 acres (6 hectares) at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. Especially famous for its collection of orchids, the site houses at least 20,000 different plant species, many of which are found in the wild. The gardens are divided by theme, creating distinct sections with unique collections. Move between the Banyan Grove, Cactus and Succulent Garden, Tropical Display House, and Bamboo Pavilion. The Marie Selby Botanical Gardens also have a koi pond and butterfly garden for visitors to enjoy. Apart from the five greenhouses that are used for research and study, there is also an old mansion called the Christy Payne Mansion onsite where you'll find photography exhibits and other interesting things.
