Located in the courtyard of one of the city's landmark buildings, the Richard J. Daley Center, this plaza has also earned its reputation of being a premier open air venue. The Daley Center Plaza is used for cultural events, farmer's markets and civic functions and is the home of "The Picasso" a steel sculpture by Pablo Picasso and the first of its kind in The Loop. The plaza also features an eternal flame war memorial and a fountain.
