Pentagon Barracks is a cluster of buildings situated on the grounds of State Capitol and is a protected area that is surrounded by lush greenery on all four sides. During the American Revolutionary War, Pentagon Barracks has been won and lost by many a country including Spain, France, United Kingdom and the United States. Currently, Pentagon Barracks is operation base of the lieutenant governor and also houses apartments for state legislators.
