Situated in the northwestern portion of Clopper Lake, Kingfisher Overlook welcomes visitors after a hike of roughly 3 miles (4.8 kilometers). Known for its untamed beauty, it features a dramatic landscape and sweeping views of the lake and wooded pathways. Sitting at an elevation, it is a prominent place for bird watchers and ornithologists as it provides excellent opportunities to observe birds in a small cove and around the dam. Therefore, this is an attraction worth seeing, especially as the sun sets and paints the surroundings in soothing earthy shades.
