Designed by David Černý, a renowned Czech sculptor, Metalmorphosis is a one-of-a-kind 360-degree rotating stainless steel structure that is said to represent a giant human head. Claimed to be a portrait of his own mental psyche, David Černý's Metalmorphosis is about 25 feet (7.62 meters) tall, weighs 14 tons (28,000 pounds), and comprises almost 40 layers of steel. The various motors and computer-controlled elements make this structure nothing less than an artistic and technological marvel. Located in the Whitehall Technology Park in the center of a beautiful reflecting pool, the extraordinary sculpture is well worth a visit.
