Located on the Cleveland State University campus, the CSU University Center houses a number of lunchtime restaurants among other things, including venues for exhibitions and shows. Various events like Poetry Slam Contests and other cultural events are conducted here. The Center even has a Conference Room in the basement where various club meeting are held.
The Cozad Bates House is the only structure in the neighborhood that has survived until today post the Civil War. The house was constructed in 1852 and holds great cultural and historic significance in the state. Restore Cleveland Hope Inc. has worked ardently to safeguard this house that was built more than a century and a half ago but stands stern even today.
