Haines Mill
Amish & Pennsylvania Dutch Country is a region of southeastern Pennsylvania that is well-known for being home to a large number of Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish residents. The area includes an assemblage of counties, most notably, the Lancaster County. With its roots deeply entrenched in simple living, occupations like agriculture and small-scale businesses are the most prominent here. This antiquated area is famed for being a hotbed of Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish cultures safeguarding their own languages, schools and a modest ideology that shuns modernity and technology. This traditional tenor lingers over buggies and horse-drawn carriages carrying Amish families, journeying through the quarter's winding thoroughfare. Its landscape defined by paved pathways, traditional cottages and windmills, this village-like expanse is a tranquil step back into the foregone Dutch and Amish times.

Built between 1814 and 1819, the Old Lehigh County Courthouse in Allentown is located only few blocks away from the new City Hall. Towering to about two stories, the building is beautifully designed and ornamented using expensive materials. Arguably the most interesting feature of the place is the courtroom on the second floor which was done up in Roman Baroque and Renaissance styles somewhere between 1914 and 1916. The exceptional building is a reflection of a grand past and a stark contrast amongst its small-town surroundings.
