Reed Park
Discovery District Park is a 48-acre (19.42-hectare) oasis of lush green fields and well-maintained picnic areas. This sprawling park in the heart of Gilbert is also home to two serene lakes that attract fishing enthusiasts from far-off corners of the city. The lakes' clean waters contain thriving populations of trout and catfish. Volleyball and basketball courts keep the sports lovers coming in, while well-marked jogging and walking trails make it a hit with fitness enthusiasts and those seeking some solace away from city bustle.
Redden Park
Opened to the public in 2015, Riverview Park is a great place for recreational sports as it has shaded as well as open playing fields. The park regularly hosts various local sports competitions, luring decent crowds of spectators to its gates. Additional features of the park include rope climbing structures, climbing towers, picnic tables and restrooms. The park is the perfect place for a family picnic and they even give ramadas for rent which you need to reserve in advance. So, watch the lovely fountains, play a sport, or simply relax in the outdoors at Riverview Park.
