Baylands Park

Baylands Park is a beautiful and massive nature park located alongside the San Francisco Bay. The park has a large grassy meadow with plenty of tables for picnics and winding trails through forested areas and along the bay that is perfect for hiking and biking. There also are large sports and play areas and plenty of play equipment and jungle gyms to keep the kids occupied. The park and its facilities are clean and very well maintained making it a popular hangout spot among the locals and tourists alike.

Washington Park

Washington Park is great for families, day or night walks, and for playing softball, baseball games, etc. The park has a huge play ground which can accommodate smaller and bigger kids. You can rent out a picnic site here and organize a family picnic. Among the shade of the trees and cool breeze you will have a wonderful time with your loved ones. The restrooms are walking distance from the picnic sites. The park is ideal for children and families but it is also a great spot to sit alone with a book. 

Serra Park

The Serra Park is located in the center of the city and yet is a place of peace and serenity. There are plenty of picnic tables under towering trees that are perfect for a day out with the family as well as many paths that snake through the park and make for a refreshing stroll. There also is an artificial stream, a few tennis courts, baseball fields, and a couple of playgrounds for the kids. This park has something for everyone and is worth a visit.

Greenwood Manor Park

A beautiful park with lush greenery and clean surroundings, ideal for walking, jogging or spending time in tranquility. The park has picnic spots which are not available for reservation, but are available for first come-first serve basis. The park offers a playground where you can spend a good time playing your favorite sports or indulge in any outdoor activities.
