Parks in Baton Rouge, LA

Hooper Road Park is an offbeat destination for tourists but is a popular spot among mountain biking enthusiasts. This neighborhood park is set on a bluff and is covered with dense wood. It has a wild beauty to it that is unlike of neighborhood parks which are generally pretty with its manicured landscape. However despite its wilderness appearance, it does feature a playground, an unlighted tennis court, baseball field and a recreation center. Its bike trails are rough and helmet is required while biking through them. There are also walking zones in this park.
