The Oak Park Department of Recreation maintains various parks and recreational facilities in Oak Park, Mich. The department makes arrangements for various recreational activities, such as kickboxing, yoga, swimming classes, tennis, aerobics and kickball classes. It also maintains various biking trails and provides special activities for senior citizens that include arthritis education and exercise, bingo, computer classes, movie trips, water exercise and volleyball. The department of recreation organizes various activities for the youth, such as hair braiding, flag football, cheerleading, soccer, after school programs, teen cooking, dancing, karate and little chefs. The special events organized include Halloween party, winterfest, Valentine s Day dance, egg hunt and celebrate with Santa.

Sullivan Park
