Buckingham Lake Park is probably the most popular place to enjoy the water outside of the Hudson River while in the city of Albany. The lake is more of a pond, due to the fact that its depth is only three feet and surface area is five acres. Spread across an area of 15000 square feet (1393.5 square meters), this park opened its doors in 2017. Scattered with several trees, this fenced park features a lush green lawn, comfortable benches and dustbins. This park is surrounded by several restaurants and cafes that are pet-friendly.
