McDade Park
McDade Park is a recreational space for people of all ages. It consists of interesting play structures, basketball courts, a golf course and walking trails.
Named after the former mayor of the town, Carl Barton Junior, this park was built in 1999. Carl Barton Junior Park features baseball and soccer field. Along with the outdoor gaming field area, this park houses a water body which is popularly used for fishing. Enjoy a family day out at this park, which features a special picnic area, play structures for kids and a pavilion.
Kasmiersky Park
Kasmiersky Park is a well designed public park in Conroe. It features picnic areas, a playground and walking trails. An ideal place to relax and unwind is amidst the oak and pine trees.
The City of Conroe Parks and Recreation Department provides leisure services to individuals. The department operates aquatic and recreation centers that offer facilities that include a gymnasium, racquetball courts, and cardio fitness and child care rooms. The recreation division offers fitness and special interest classes in gymnastics, karate and dance. Its recreation division also offers athletic programs for individuals of all ages, as well as provides rental facilities for parties and receptions. The City of Conroe Parks and Recreation Department maintains an activity center that can accommodate more than 300 people. Located in Conroe, Texas, the department offers various sports activities that include soccer and volleyball, and also hosts programs for adults and youths.
John Burge Park at Shadow Lakes is a huge park which has ample space for private events and functions. It features a playground, amphitheater for educational purposes, art spaces and a golf course amongst others.
