A sizable park on the western end of Highland Village, Pilot Knolls Park offers a refreshing break from the noisy city. Flanked by the Lewisville Lake, this park offers a plethora of exciting facilities from equestrian trails, volleyball courts, hiking trails and camp grounds, to kayak, motor boat and jet-ski rentals. To enjoy all there is, pitch a tent by the lake and spend the night gazing at the stars, sitting by the campfire and taking a late night trek through the woods.
Lake Dallas City Park is located in the heart of the town, making it an easily accessible point for the citizens. The well kept park is open for recreational activities like basketball court, soccer field and tennis court. If you want to spend your day relaxing, then the park has well sheltered picnic tables. You can also visit the butterfly garden, horseshoe pits and Veteran's memorial here.
